Systems feature dual 1/3 hp, CFC-free refrigeration systems that cool the upright stainless steel collector to –84°C （–119°F）, a 12-port drying chamber （attached separately）, ａnd LCD that displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters, ａnd alarm messages. View LED vacuum ａnd temperature "waves" for an at-a-glance display of relative system vacuum ａnd collector temperature. Red alarm light flashes ａnd beeper sounds when an abnormal system event occurs. Sensor prevents refrigeration or vacuum start-up when moisture is detected in the collector chamber area. Vacuum break valve bleeds air into system when power to the freeze dryer or vacuum pump is shut off.
Equipped with a rear-mounted RS-232 port to transmit data, automatic start-up switch for collector cool down ａnd vacuum pull down with manual override switches, ａnd retractable 22.9cm （9"） collector drain hose. Collector holds 4.5L of ice before defrosting.
Systems are available in benchtop or console models ａnd with an optional fluoropolymer resin coating on the collector coil ａnd chamber for processes involving corrosive compounds.
The 60Hz models are UL listed ａnd conform to CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1. The 220/240V, 50Hz models are CE marked.
Ordering Information: The 115V/60Hz models include a three-wire cord with 20A NEMA 5-20P plug. The 220/240V, 50Hz ａnd 208/230V, 60Hz models include a three-wire cord with 20A NEMA 6-20P plug. All modules require a vacuum pump with a displacement of at least 86L/min., 0.002mBar ultimate pressure, 15A NEMA 5-15P plug （115V models）, or reverse IEC plug （220/240V or 208/230V models）, a fitting suitable for 1.9cm （3/4"） I.D. vacuum hose, ａnd freeze dry glassware if not bulk freeze drying.
